Over the weekend, I was perched up in my favorite little French bistro with my biz bestie, Ashley Hogan, where I was sharing with her how I crafted my yearly and monthly income goals based on everything I was truly desiring to manifest in 2017.
Now let me tell you, the numbers I came up with did not feel like an easy feat. But seeing them mapped out in a such a way made them feel REAL. And when things feel real, they’re totally possible, right?
So today, I want to share my step-by-step process with you so that you can become super excited about your own POSSIBILITIES and the very REAL-ness of them!
To money map your desires and manifest your most successful year yet, follow the steps below:
1.) Tap into your desires for 2017.
Your first task is to make a master list of everything you truly desire to manifest in 2017. I’m talking big dreams & goals. I’m talking things you’d like to do & experience. I’m talking things you’d like to buy. Business. Personal. All of it.
Do you finally want to:
➳ Write & publish your book? Record & release your first album? Help people in your 1:1 service?
➳ Travel?
➳ Attend a personal development conference?
➳ Buy a new car? Increase your savings?
➳ Give to your favorite charity?
➳ Pay off your student loans?
➳ Hire a Coach?
Next, get crystal clear on the details of each desire. What kind of car do you want to buy? Which personal development conference do you want to go to? How many people do you want to help with your 1:1 service?
The clearer you can get, the easier it will be to accomplish the next step {and the greater intention you’re putting behind your desires}!
2.) Determine how much money is required to manifest each desire.
Let’s say you want to travel to Iceland for a week. In this step, research how much your adventure will cost. How much will you need for flights and hotel? How much do you want to put aside for food, spending, and fun activities while you’re there? Once you have the total money amount that you need for your trip, write it next to “Iceland Trip.”
If you desire to help 32 people in your 1:1 service, figure out what it will cost you to obtain these 32 people via your preferred marketing strategy.
If you want to pay off your student loans, determine how much money will you need to do that.
3.) List + calculate yearly costs for bills.
If you have bills that aren’t already included in your desires, list them and calculate how much they will cost yearly.
For example, let’s say you have a cell phone bill. Multiply your monthly payment by 12 to determine the yearly cost.
If you own a business, don’t forget to calculate how much money you will need for taxes!
4.) Create a spread sheet that includes your desires + your bills.
In this step, you’ll want to transfer your desires and bills to a spread sheet. If you own a business, separate business desires and bills from personal desires and bills.
When you’ve completed this step, add the amounts together to reveal your 2017 income goal!
You can even take this one step further and divide the income goal by 12 to determine what you need to be making on a monthly basis in order to manifest your desires and enjoy your most successful year yet.
So now that you have your numbers, you’re probably either staring at them with utter excitement and possibility OR you’re scratching your head, wondering how on Earth you’re going to achieve them.
If you’re in the latter position, I want to remind you that you don’t need to figure out all of the hows. Manifesting is a dance between getting super clear on your vision, taking action towards it, and then stepping back into surrender! You never know what kind of magic the Universe has up its sleeve. Remain loosely attached to your goals, do your part, and believe that these numbers can happen for you! After all, they’re already in the works! Everything that was ever created, was first a thought in someone’s mind and you just got really clear on A LOT of thoughts 😉
