How I Manifested My First $5K Month {and It’s Not What the Gurus Are Telling You}

Create

This is a momentous moment.
I feel it so deeply. Right down to the marrow in my bones.
Celebration, gratitude, awe, happiness, pure magic—all of it.

I almost can’t believe it, but at the same time, I really can. After all, I worked for this.
For 20 months before this moment, I worked for this.

And I finally did it:
I manifested my first $5K month!
{$5K meaning cash in the bank, not projected sales}

Holy crap.
The iconic $5,000 month. The money goal that every new or struggling entrepreneur seems to strive for. The kind of money goal that makes financial freedom feel attainable. The kind of money goal that blesses you with the ability to do what you want when you want {which is what we’re all after on some level, right?}.

I can’t believe I’ve finally arrived.

Even beyond the money {because really, the money is just a reflection of something so much deeper}, I’m celebrating who I’ve had to step into in order to get here and how much of an impact I’ve made in the lives of my people.

Zig Ziglar said it best:
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”

I wouldn’t be here right now unless I wasn’t willing to do the deep transformational inner work, nor would I be here right now if I weren’t making a tremendous impact in the lives of others.

It’s interesting to think about this, but actually, the very thing that kept the money out of my life before was my sole focus on the money.

What’s shifted now is that I’m focused on the person in front of me. I ask myself: How can I serve her so deeply that she will never forget our conversation? How can I shift his world view in such a way that it will change the trajectory of his life forever?

Rather than focus on what I can get, I focus on what I can give. Instead of asking: How can I make $5K this month, ask yourself, how can I give away $5K of value?

It’s like a boomerang. Whatever you put out will come back. It’s Universal law.

The other shift that helped me get here was one of SIMPLIFYING.

All around us, there’s noise. Both within and without. The noise of our own minds chattering back and forth. The noise from the latest Guru with her quick fix course or marketing tactic. There is SO.MUCH.NOISE.

And so what I’ve done, for the sake of my sanity and my business, is tune it out.

What I’ve done is tune into my higher wisdom. Now, I only do what feels really good to me and nothing less.

I truly believe that we can all be successful by doing more of what lights us up and what makes our hearts sing. It doesn’t have to be sales funnels and numbers and challenges and Facebook Ads if those things don’t feel good to you.

For me, it’s about DEEP connection, 1:1 value, and REAL relationships. Once I owned this and infused these values into my business at every touch point, things became much easier.

I’ve also simplified my focus. Instead of trying to do it all, all at once, I put my energy behind one intention. No more creating products, no more writing my book, no more speaking. Just Coaching.

As a result, I gave my subconscious mind a break. All of my creative energy was channeled into one outlet and as a result? Well, my intention to fill my practice is manifesting. And manifesting quickly.

Now, let me be clear that what I’m saying is not meant to be taken as Truth. For me this is Truth, but for you—it may not be. And that’s okay. The point of this article is to show you that the road to success looks different for everyone! Some things may resonate and some things may not.

What I hope you take away though is the idea of tuning in, listening to your heart, and experimenting in your own way.

You have everything within you to be as successful as you want to be.

In fact, in coaching my amazing Clients, that’s what I live by. Yeah, I can tell them what to do, but it’s so much more powerful {and even healing} when I can pull from them what strategy resonates deeply with them.

And sure, sometimes they need a little push outside of their comfort zone, but in the end, it always comes from them based on who they are and what their goals are.

As entrepreneurs, we leave behind the shackles of working for someone else because we want to lead and do things in our own way, so don’t forget to do things in your own way. Show up. Do the inner work. Heal. Lead with your heart. Simplify. And love the world deeply.

It will all come back to you in more ways than you could ever know ♡

With love, light, & celebration,
-Kayla
